There is a quest where you pick up a companion and he says you can have his ancestral castle if you find it, his name is Ser Janis something. He says its somewhere in Essos. I've even resorted to cheats to try and skip around and find it because I feel like I have looked everywhere possible.PS I played ACOK and switched to the AWOFAI, this one seems way better to me.

Jul 01, 2011  The spy leaves the town immediately when you go to the strategic map. He is impossible to follow essentially. Start circling the mission city in a spiral pattern and you should see a group of about 11'unremarkable citizens' or ordinary townsman'with some mercenaries.

I got like a thousand recommendations for ACOK over this mod and I really think you guys should reconsider. Just saying. More freedom, more menu options.

Can Kill lords, which is amazing. If you played Brytenwald at all, it has all those menu options and more. Has more family members that don't fight, think Arya and Sansa (Sorry for spelling) but are still important.

The armor looks WAY WAY better IMO. I heard it has tons of bugs but I haven't really noticed, maybe the newest update (earlier this month) fixed them? Every city has an individual look on map and walking around/battles. AWOFAI puts me in the GOT world more way more and that's really what it comes down to for me. And I don't think anyone can disagree with that last part given all the liberties of style that ACOK takes.The only thing I liked more about ACOK was that Essos was way more filled out. Westeros looks AMAZING on AWOIAF, but essos seems barren after playing ACOK.
