Problem With Running Do Flies In Stata 13.0 For Mac
Same thing here, sometimes it works sometimes I need to force-quit atom.My keybinding resolver looks the same as bergenmike's.Application: Quit from the command menu also doesn't work.Doing a Window: Reload from the command panel first doesn't help. Also can't quit from the right click menu in the dock.Doing a 'Force Quit' from the doc with option held down will kill it. And then on subsequently opening atom I can then immediately quit it normally. So it's not a ubiquitous bug, it seems to get triggered at some point and then sticks from then on.
As you enter it in, there will be no feedback, no asterisks, just keep typing and hit enter when it's in. It'll take a little time to run depending how many files are there. If any errors come up, copy and paste them into a post here. The command itself changes the owner of the files (ch=change, own=owner).
I hadn't had any issues these past few days but I just experienced this bug again. I can't replicate it in Safe Mode. I haven't been able to try Clearing Saved State yet but I will try this next time before I force quit.
MacOS: High Sierra 10.13.5.I've been working on a Rails project and had to install some things that messed with my PATH, which broke some symlinks. To fix this, I reinstalled homebrew and hadn't had any issues closing Atom with cmd-q. Tonight it came back and all I can think of that I did was running a couple different apps with rails server in iterm. Once I was finished I closed all the files I had open in Atom with a flurry of cmd-ws and then I hit cmd-q at the end but it got hung up again. I was moving quickly and forgot about the Clearing Saved State step and quickly force quit but I'll be sure to try that next time it comes up and report back.
The problem is not intermittent. Quit is possible in safe mode. And yes, I'm able to quit normally with all packages disabled if the disable settings hold after a force quit. Ford 3.0 timing marks. Just re-enabled packages one by one and found that flow@0.5.3 was possibly causing the issue. Issue is gone for now, but I'll report back if it returns.community packages installed for reference Community Packages (26) /Users/home/.atom/packages├── Stylus@3.2.0├── atom-mysql-snippets@0.3.1├── atom-react-snippets@1.1.0├── autocomplete-sql@0.5.0├── busy-signal@1.4.3├── cobalt2-syntax@0.5.3├── color-picker@2.3.0├── flow@0.5.3. I'm experiencing the same problem. ⌘-q is the correct keybinding. It works sometimes, but not others.
It seems to be particularly prone to the error after my laptop wakes from sleep. I have to force-quit in order to exit (choosing Application: quit from the command pallet does not work, nor does Atom quit).MacOS 10.12.6, Atom 1.30.0Packages installed:├── Hydrogen@2.6.0├── atom-ide-ui@0.13.0├── atom-language-r@1.4.8├── data-explorer@0.3.1├── fonts@3.1.0├── hydrogen-launcher@1.2.2├── hydrogen-python@0.0.7├── ide-python@1.0.0├── ide-r@0.1.8├── platformio-ide-terminal@2.8.4├── project-manager@3.3.6├── python-indent@1.1.6└── tablr@1.8.3.
I have just experienced this problem. I had just finished installing package updates and clicked the 'restart' button in the pop-up notification to no effect. Same issue here. It's been like this a while.
